The Philadelphia Falcons, Philadelphia’s premier LGBTQIA+ soccer nonprofit, is teaming up with community partners to sponsor our 16th Liberty Bell Classic soccer tournament on Saturday, October 24th, 2026. Join us for our Open Division - Recreational, which is open to players of any gender identity looking to play at a recreational-to-intermediate level. We're excited to continue our commitment to creating inclusive, competitive, and fun spaces where everyone can enjoy soccer!

Note: Players may NOT play in both the Recreational and Competitive Open Divisions. However, they can play across the FLINTA and Open Divisions as long as they register for both.

• Venue (indoors, turf): Temple STAR Complex (1816 N 15th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19121)
• Players may wear turf shoes or soccer cleats (no metal studs) - shin guards required!
  
• Duration: ~ 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
• Format: 5 v. 5 including goalie (max 12 players per team)
  • ~20-25-minute games
  • 12x6ft nets, futsal balls (we will actually have futsal balls this year)
  • Round-robin games will determine playoff seeds

Sign up as a free agent (you can create a small group with up to 3 friends) or as a full team and compete to snatch the LBC crown! Register before 11:59 pm on Monday, September 21st, to get the lowest price and secure your spot in the 2025 Liberty Bell Classic. To secure the early bird rate, Team Captains must pay in full before the September 21st deadline. Reach out to secretary@phillyfalcons.org if you or your team needs a flexible payment solution.

Captains, please note that you will be asked to provide a team name, a brief team description, a logo (email marketing@phillyfalcons.org if you'd like support creating one), and any social media handles when registering. We request these details so we can promote your participation in the LBC.

Tournament registration includes:

• Minimum 4 games played
• Pre-tournament social/mixer on Friday, October 23rd from ~6-8 pm (location TBA)
• Commemorative tournament shirts & other swag (your team can bring its own jerseys)
• Post-tournament social/mixer on Saturday, October 24th (details TBA)
• Other TBA discounts

Pending interest, we may organize a brunch on Sunday, October 25th, with tickets to be purchased separately (~$20-30)
