Hola! The Philly Falcons have been an essential part of my Philadelphia community since 2021. As a Falcon, I've represented us in local and national leagues and tournaments, organized our annual Liberty Bell Classic soccer tournament, and, most recently, served as the 2025 Sporting Activities Director, where I oversaw our pickup and seasonal Falcons Leagues. As President for 2026, I'm excited to expand the Falcons' mission of inclusive, accessible, and affordable soccer and community; work toward long-term sustainability for the organization; and forge stronger ties with local, national, and international peer organizations and community partners.

Since joining the Falcons in 2023, the club has brought so much into my life—soccer, friendship, queer joy, love, and community. With the World Cup coming to Philly in 2026, I’m excited to help the Falcons grow even more connected, visible, and welcoming. I hope to support our Executive Committee and Pride House PHL, deepen ties in the LGBTQIA+ community, and ensure that our club culture continues to thrive with intention and care.

My name is Raphaelle (Raph for short)—I've lived in Philly for the past two years now but lived my whole life in France! You might have seen me distributing baked goods at pickups or talking about my wife. Looking forward to meeting so many more falcons, here for soccer, the joy, or for the laughs.

Having played soccer since I was 4 years old, some of my greatest memories have been on the pitch. When I found the Falcons in 2025, I knew this soccer community was different from any other. The sense of true acceptance, compassion, and support for one another present within this organization has made such a huge difference in my life. I’m excited to continue creating inclusive spaces for soccer in our communities, and of course to make more memories on, and off, the field.

I started playing soccer when I joined the Falcons in 2024! I couldn't believe how incredibly welcoming and wonderful everyone was even though I really had no idea what I was doing. Since then, I have grown so much both on the field and personally thanks to all the great friends I have made through the Falcons. I'm thrilled to bring my experience in social media, editorial, and design to represent and spread the Falcons' message of inclusivity and community.

This community has been a meaningful anchor for me in Philadelphia since joining the Falcons in the summer of 2024. As Fundraising & Sponsorships Director, I’m excited to bring my experience working at the intersection of research, strategy, design, and community engagement to help the Falcons clarify, codify, and share our story with prospective supporters; explore new and creative ways to engage partners; and highlight what makes partnering with the Falcons meaningful and worthwhile—while also creating opportunities for the club to give back to local organizations focused on queer communities, soccer, and access to play.

I started playing soccer around age 4 and played consistently until I went to college where I still played some intramural. After an almost 10 year hiatus, the Falcons got me back on the field! I am beyond honored to serve an organization that uplifts queer people and gets them involved in soccer!

I have been a Falcon since the late summer of 2024, and it’s been such an important part of life ever since, within the organization, you can find me being a captain of our TCWSL team, playing pick-ups, and talking to as many people as I can during our socials! 

Outside of Falcons, I love all things soccer, Pokemon, and basketball!
