We are excited to celebrate 16 YEARS of the Liberty Bell Classic tournament! 

The Philadelphia Falcons, Philadelphia’s premier LGBTQIA+ soccer nonprofit, is teaming up with community partners to sponsor our 16th Liberty Bell Classic soccer tournament on Saturday, October 24th, 2026. This tournament welcomes players of all skill levels and gender identities, with three divisions to choose from: 

• OPEN - Recreational: open to players of any gender identity who are looking for a recreational-to-intermediate level of play
• OPEN - Competitive: open to players of any gender identity who are looking for an intermediate-to-recreational level of play
• FLINTA: open to players of any gender identity within the FLINTA umbrella (women, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender).

FORMAT

• 5 v. 5 including goalie (max 12 players per team)
  • ~20-25-minute games with no halftime
  • 12x6 ft nets and futsal balls (we will actually have futsal balls this year)
  • Players may wear turf shoes or cleats (not metal cleats) - shin guards required!
  • We will use round-robin open play to sort teams into “competitive” and “recreational” brackets for playoffs (when team numbers permit)
• Duration: ~8:30 am - 4:30 pm

LOCATION

The 2026 Liberty Bell Classic will be played indoors on turf at the Temple STAR Complex (1816 N 15th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19121), a venue located in North Philadelphia. The complex is conveniently located near a wide range of restaurants and food trucks, and is easily accessible by public transportation.

REGISTRATION

Register as a free agent or as a full team and compete to snatch the LBC crown! Register here before 11:59 pm on Monday, September 21st, to get the lowest price and secure your spot in the 2026 Liberty Bell Classic. Watch this video to learn how to register as a free agent, small group, team captain, or team player. Registration closes at 11:59 pm on October 12th.

Tournament registration includes: 

• Minimum 4 games played
• Pre-tournament social/mixer on Friday, October 23rd (location TBA)
• Commemorative tournament shirts & other swag (your team can bring its own jerseys)
• Post-tournament social/mixer on Saturday, October 24th (details TBA) 
• Other TBA discounts
