Falcons Play Rules

FORMAT

LEAGUE OR TOURNAMENT FORMAT

The Philly Falcons has established a seasonal leagues, flash, friendly or competitive tournaments play which
includes All-Gender Division(s). Falcons welcome everyone and there isn’t rules about how many players of each gender should be on the field but also promote fair play so people should consider this is a Friendly League either or the level is Recreational or competitive.

Each league or tournament can has different format 5v5, 6v6, 7v7 or 11v11, Indoor or Outdoor, Goalies or not Goalies, How long the games will be, Guest players rules, Playoff format, 

Use a inclusive language because everyone is welcome to play regardless gender expression or identity, Trans and nonbinary players are more than welcome and there is other people who identify with other pronouns or other people who identifies outside of the gender binary. 

A player must not use or wear any equipment or other item that is dangerous.
All items of jewelry (necklaces, rings, watches, fit bits, bracelets, earrings, leather bands, rubber
bands, etc.) are forbidden and must be removed. Using tape to cover jewelry is not permitted.

We encourage all the players to wear shin guards, for the safety of everyone. 

FAIR PLAY RULE: 

If a team is Up 3 Goals, the other team can add a player or if we are missing players the winners will have to take a player out.
 The final score will be the winner team up for three goals.

The Referes or Board Member

The authority of the referees
Each match is controlled by one referee or volunteer board member who has full authority to enforce the Laws of the Game in connection with the match.

The decisions of the referees regarding facts connected with play, including whether or not a goal is scored and the result of the match, are final.


The referees enforce the Laws of the Game; ensure that any ball used meets the requirements of The Ball, ensure that the players’ equipment meets the requirements of Players Equipment, keep a record of match incidents; stop the match, at their discretion, for any offences against the Laws of the Game; stop, suspend or abandon the match due to any other issue, such as be outside
interference; e.g.
the referee may allow the match to continue or stop, suspend or abandon it depending on the severity of the incident; a spectator blows a whistle which interferes with play – play is stopped and restarted with a dropped ball; an extra ball, other object or animal enters the pitch during the match – the referees
must: stop play (restart with a dropped ball) if it interferes with play, unless the ball is going into the goal and the interference does not prevent a defending-team player playing the ball; in such cases, the goal is awarded if the ball enters the goal (even if contact was made with the ball) unless the interference was by the attacking team; allow play to continue and have it removed at the earliest possible opportunity, stop the match if, in their opinion, a player is seriously injured and ensure that the player
is removed from the pitch. 

An injured player, including a goalkeeper, may not be treated
on the pitch and may only return to the pitch after the match has restarted; (Insert Pronouns) must enter the pitch from (insert pronouns) team’s substitution zone after receiving referee approval.
The only exceptions to the requirement to leave the pitch are when:  a goalkeeper and an outfield player have collided and need attention; Players from the same team have collided and need attention; a severe injury has occurred; a player is injured as a result of a physical offense for which the opponent is cautioned
or sent off (e.g. a reckless or serious foul challenge), if the assessment/treatment is completed quickly; a penalty kick has been awarded and the injured player will be the kicker. ensure that any player bleeding leaves the pitch.
The player may only re-enter on receiving a signal from the referees, who must be satisfied that the bleeding has stopped
and there is no blood on the equipment ensure that, if the doctors and/or stretcher-bearers have been authorized to enter the
pitch, the player leaves on a stretcher or on foot. A player who does not comply must be cautioned for unsporting behavior;

    BE RESPECTFUL WITH EVERYONE

    Be respectful to everyone, including teammates, referees, and organizers, remember This is a lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer and plus allies friendly league all the levels, gender identities and expression are welcome, as reminder people use different pronouns, people have different skills levels, or backgrounds, please always try the best to understand every community.

    • Yellow Card: Player goes out for five minutes, the other team can add another player.

    • Red Card: Player is out for the game and another game suspension depending on the incident and the board or committee decision.

    • Penalty kick: Taken from the penalty mark.

    • Referees and board members have the right to eject a player from the game or the tournament for continual rough/physical play, misconduct, or any form of violence on or off the field. In the case the game doesn't have a referee, a board member is allowed to make any call based on these rules.

    • All other rules that are normally part of the game of soccer, and that are not specified here, also apply to this league.

    Friendly reminder, this club is run by volunteers, so be respectful with them and players while we got players from all the races, backgrounds, gender identities, gender expressions and sexual orientation.

    Recognize to Recover is aimed at promoting safe play and reducing injuries in soccer players of all ages. The first-of-its-kind, the program was developed with the help of medical experts to provide coaches, players, parents and referees with information, guidance and additional educational materials to improve the prevention and management of injuries.
